It’s been a While…
It’s been a long time since the last time I’ve posted something on my blog and I apologize for that. Life has been eventful and hectic especially since the beginning of school and the onset of new projects, new ideas, new research, and new dreams for the new school year. It’s very easy to get bogged down by all the things life throws at you, which is what I want to talk about today.
Homecoming 2018 was a fabulous time with fabulous people. It was a time to relax and just to have fun. To smile, laugh, and dance freely, not worrying about anything.
Pictures! Pictures! Pictures
No Homecoming is complete without pictures! Here are some of the memories I made:

A Happily Ever After
Homecoming helped me realize how important it is to relax and to just enjoy life as it approaches. To not think too far ahead. To still be a high schooler and enjoy all the perks and events that make high school so special. To relax and enjoy life as it comes, not as it will be. Don’t be a workaholic. Work hard, but don’t overwork. There’s too much in life that you’ll miss. Homecoming really was a happily ever after ending. To be able to dance my heart out, to enjoy such a great company, and to have one of the greatest times of my life is what anyone lives for. We all get those times when we’re just burned out by all the activities and events that surround our lives, and it’s important for us to learn to relax and to take time out of each and every week that we live to just enjoy ourselves. Spend time with family, with friends, with loved ones. Go ride a bike, go out and watch a movie, let all your cares run away for just one day.
The world calls us to be the best, the greatest, and yes that’s something that we should strive for, to be the best of ourselves. But we can’t be our best if we don’t give ourselves the sufficient rest to charge up our batteries. So I challenge you to go out and relax for just one day; find something to do that you’ve never done before and go and do it, pushing back everything else so you can relax. To future memories and to future joys. Relax and enjoy life as it is.
